Magnetic coupler application case in Lingwu Air-cooling Island
Since operation of the air-cooling units in Lingwu Power Plant, the air-cooling island has been suffering from problems of great vibration of fans, motors and bridges, with vibration speed reaching 30mm/s, which has caused broken gear teeth and leakage of the fan gear box, bearing runoff of the motor bearing seat, damaged bearings and broken rotor bars; wear and oil leakage of the lubricating oil pump; and wear of couplers. More seriously, long-term strong vibration will cause metal fatigue in the air-cooling island bridge and thus easy to cause major safety accidents. From 2011 when #3 & 4 units were put into operation to August, 2014, the second-phase air-cooling island had damaged gear shafts in more than 80 air-cooling fan gearbox and damage of multiple motor bearings and couplers, resulting in direct economic loss of more than six million yuan.

Feed pump overhaul of Donghua Power Plant
Baotou Donghua Thermal Power Co., Ltd. is located in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, equipped with 2×300MW steam turbine generator units, with each unit equipped with three 50% rated-capacity electric feed pumps driven by hydraulic couplers. The feed pump units are installed with the booster pump driven coaxially at a constant speed by the feed pump motor. Three electric feed pumps are available, with two in service and one as backup.

Retrofit of steam pump sealing water system of Fujian Kemen Power Plant
In Fujian Kemen Power Plant the #2 small steam turbine processes filter water of the small steam turbine lubricating oil tank, with the amount of filtered water exceeding 500ml. The oil contains a large amount of water, causing the emulsification of the small steam turbine lubricating oil, thereby to cause poor lubrication of the small steam turbine and high bearing temperature, and possibly to cause accidents of bush burning or shutdown.

BCT101 system application case in Datong Power Plant
#8 unit of Datong Power Plant is a subcritical, once reheating, four-cylinder four-steam exhaust port, single shaft, direct air condensing steam 600MW steam turbine, with the model NZK600-16.7/538/538, and vibration monitoring and protection system (TSI) being Bentley 3500 rotating mechanical monitoring device. The shaft vibration of the #2 bearing of the medium/high-pressure cylinder rotor of the unit was always high, reaching 150μm. During the overhaul, the load of the high-pressure rotor bearing was adjusted according to our expert's opinion, specifically, the #1 bearing was lowered by 0.10 mm while the #2 bearing raised by 0.10 mm. And our company's BCT101 system was installed. At the same time, the low pressure rotor was replaced as planned.
